Synopsis: Hannah, a restless 24-year-old living with her parents in rural Kentucky, feels paralyzed by indecision about her future. After finding inspiration in a mysterious memoir about discovering life's meaning through quirky roadside attractions, she quits her dead-end job and sets off on a road trip to Oklahoma to find the author, "RP," hoping for guidance.
On her journey, Hannah meets Ruth, a charismatic but secretive drifter who claims to know RP's identity. Together, they embark on a road trip filled with strange attractions, homoerotic conversations, and moral gray areas. As their bond deepens, the truth unravels: Ruth isn't who she claims to be, and her connection to RP is fabricated.
